THE
VOLUNTEERS have been managing Bramingham Wood on behalf of the Woodland Trust
since 1985, but we are always seeking new helpers (the more, the merrier). We
welcome helpers for any and all walks of life only a minimum age
prevails us from accepting anyone who wishes to spend a few hours helping in
the delights of an ancient woodland.
The many interesting tasks - all
involving health-giving excercise - that we get up to are: Coppicing; Ride
maintenance; Entrance and Fence construction; Wildlife monitoring and
recording; Publicity; School Liaison; Newsletters; Website input; Article
writing; Photographic recording; Litter picking; Eye and Ears Wardening; Safety
work...etc
With all these useful
involvements to keep you active, interested and socially responsible - by
helping to preserve an important, although small, area of the planet - why not
do your bit and become a supporter of one of the best woodlands in Bedfordshire
!
